DAY 6: Have a Vision, * Joshua 1:1-6

Pastor Correa put it this way, “God’s program for Joshua was specific. He was a leader with a very rigid set of requirements. He was to secure the land from the Canaanites who possessed it and divide it among the tribes of Israel. He was to lead the people to what Moses had led the people toward. He was to lead the people to possess what Moses had promised.”

God set forth the plan for Joshua. Have a vision, but be led by the Holy Spirit. Do not act on your own wisdom. Be sure that the vision you have is based on the will of God. Continue in prayer & interaction with God’s Word, and He will reveal His will. Empty yourself of yourself, and lean in on your dependence of God.

INSPECT:  Look at Exodus 6:1-13; what vision did God set forth for Moses & the Israelites that is inherited by Joshua?

REFLECT:  This vision of deliverance ultimately led to your deliverance from sin through Christ. Reflect on the wonder & wholeness of God’s plan for your life.
